As stewards of animal welfare with a mission to reduce overpopulation through high-quality, high-volume spay and neutering, we cherish the partnerships we form with organizations that focus on continuity with our mission. This month, we would like to recognize the value that Hello Pitty Rescue adds not only to our organization, but to the animal community.
Hello Pitty Rescue was established to help animal outreach and adoptions in the greater Seattle area. Their dedication to responsible ownership, promotion of spay and neuter programs, and their stance as advocates against breed-specific legislation makes their rescue a huge asset to the animal welfare community. In 2019, Hello Pitty Rescue was able to provide a second chance for 44 Pitbull-type dogs. Their efforts include, but are not limited to, transporting dogs to Washington, finding forever homes, and even creating a training program for Pitbulls called Train-A-Pit.
As a step further, Hello Pitty Rescue continues to run a program that we are thrilled to support. Their Responsi-Bull Program was created to help low income families have their Pitbull-type dogs spayed and neutered as well as have microchipping done. Through our partnership with Hello Pitty Rescue, we will be holding a Responsi-Bull day once a quarter at Northwest Spay and Neuter Center where all Pitbulls will receive a free spay or neuter and microchip through the generous contribution from Hello Pitty Rescue. We are happy to announce hosting the 2023 Responsi-Bull program on March 30 and May 25. We will have limited availability on these days, so please give us a call to see if your pet can be sponsored by Hello Pitty Rescue’s awesome program.
